About This Mod's Development

The Texture Struggle:

The original DOA model textures were... creative (to put it nicely). To save resources, the developers literally painted stockings directly onto the skin texture. I spent two hours in Photoshop carefully removing all that fake skin to create actual physical stockings. (This was definitely a "little head controlling the big head" moment...)

Why I Went Encrypted:

This mod was originally unencrypted, but two incidents yesterday changed my mind. Here's the story:

A word of advice to newcomers: DON'T use mod packs! DON'T use mod packs! DON'T use mod packs!

You might save some time and effort now by using them, but when the game updates, you'll pay it back tenfold—or even a hundredfold—trying to troubleshoot which mod broke your game. (Anyone who’s played Skyrim knows exactly what I’m talking about.)

Never rename the PAK file!

Renaming the PAK file will cause the encrypted box client to fail to recognize it!

The other part consists of the clothing model files, which are unencrypted. You can use the mod box created by the great "Seal" on the website to install and customize replacements.

Both parts are indispensable for the mod to work. If you only install the model files, the mod will get stuck during the game loading process.

Let me quietly share a little tip with you: You can change the transparency of the fishnet stockings by adjusting the values of these two parameters using the MDFXL plugin.
